During a routine shift, American police officer Eva stumbled upon a cage containing a small, frail dog. At first glance, the animal appeared lifeless.

Covered in dirt and excrement and lying motionless, the little creature had experienced severe neglect. As Eva leaned over to get a closer look, she felt a wave of sympathy for the poor animal.

Suddenly, the dog moved its paw, revealing that it was still clinging to life. Eva noticed its labored breathing, realizing there was hope yet. Determined to help, she quickly transported the cage to the nearest veterinary clinic.

Upon arrival, the dog was in such a weakened state that the thermometer couldn’t even register its body temperature. Both Eva and the veterinarian faced uncertainty about its survival.
