On April 7, we received an urgent call for help through our social media platform, VK. A woman, clearly distressed, was on the line, crying about a frail dog she had found in her neighborhood.

Acting quickly on her information, we rushed to the scene. We arrived with food, hoping to lure the dog over. However, as I got closer, the sight of the animal nearly broke my heart.

The poor creature was emaciated, his ribs poking through dirty, tangled fur, and his eyes, nearly blind, were clouded with pain and bewilderment.

It was clear that this dog had suffered greatly, his weakened body a stark reminder of the tough life he faced on the streets.

In spite of his dire state, there was a glimmer of hope in his eyes. It was as if he was silently begging for the kindness and care he urgently needed.

Without a second thought, we gently picked him up, committed to doing everything possible to offer him a second chance at a happier, healthier life.
