Dog Saved from Landfill: Asphalt Prison Broken by Rescue Team’s Dedication
Today, a heartwarming rescue unfolded as a dog was saved from a grim fate at a landfill site. Initially, I was puzzled by its stillness and cries.
As I drew nearer, I was alarmed to find the unfortunate canine encased in hardened asphalt, which had immobilized it. It seems the poor creature had inadvertently wandered into the sticky substance and ended up in this dire predicament.
The dog’s body was nearly covered in dried asphalt, making it impossible for it to move. Fortunately, our timely discovery prevented a tragic outcome.

Despite its discomfort and apparent pain, the animal was desperate to move but found itself trapped in place.
I carefully lifted the dog out from the bushes. It was heart-wrenching to see it covered in garbage, sticky, and emitting a strong odor.
The heat, combined with the constrictive asphalt, made breathing laborious for the dog, causing it to grow weak. I quickly placed it in a nearby cardboard box and headed back to join the rescue team.

My team and I set to work meticulously, attempting to remove the stubborn asphalt. Despite our efforts, much of the sticky grime remained. Undeterred, we continuously repeated the cleaning process.
After about three hours of dedicated care, the dog regained enough freedom of movement to start recovering. Finally able to relax, it began to fall asleep, evidently exhausted from its ordeal.

Currently, the dog is in good spirits, albeit underweight. However, we are confident that with the team’s devoted care, it will soon thrive again.

Through sharing these rescue tales, we aim to promote the message of “Protect animals,” as they deserve love and protection just like humans.
