In addition to these physical injuries, Tres was plagued with severe mange and skin parasites, with his condition making it too stressful to conduct a blood test. His legs bore the marks of binding, with significant wounds around them.

Despite the dire situation, a glimmer of hope emerged eight days into his recovery. Some of Tres’s injuries began to heal, and he surprised everyone by standing and even walking a few steps.

The veterinary team provided special medications aimed at promoting tissue regeneration, and thankfully, his fever subsided, leading to a positive response to the treatments.

Tres seemed to draw strength from the comforting voice and presence of his caregivers, who continually encouraged him to persevere and grow stronger.

As he regained stability, Tres remained in the clinic for additional care before he could eventually be brought home. Thanks to the dedication of those nurturing him, the resilience of his spirit, and after 38 days, Tres’s progress was remarkable.

The wounds on both severely injured legs healed well, and he could walk and run with joy, akin to any other dog. He grew not only in strength but also in spirit, having faced challenging times with determination.
