Abandoned with his front legs bent backward, a dog found himself immobilized and vulnerable, struggling to survive on his own.

Moved by his plight, tire repair workers Ozimar Queiroz and Lindomar Queiroz, despite their limited resources, took the dog under their care.

They provided him with food, helped him move around, and ensured his safety until a permanent home could be found.

Named “Seal” by the workers because his open paws resembled a marine animal, the dog had a little solace in a stray cat near the shop. However, he still required proper veterinary attention and care.

“We felt bad for him,” Ozimar, known as Galego, expressed. “We’ve been feeding him, and he’s put on some weight since we found him, but we don’t have the resources to provide the care he truly needs.”

For three weeks, the dedicated workers looked after Seal, offering him a temporary refuge. Then, Seal’s story took a positive turn when it spread on social media

The poignant images of his condition struck a chord with animal lovers, eventually catching the eye of a compassionate couple from Porto Velho.

Michele, an economics student who adopted Seal, described the encounter as an instant bond. Touched by his gentle demeanor and dire circumstances, Michele was compelled to give him a forever home.

“It was love at first sight. His situation moved me deeply. Despite his helplessness, he was incredibly gentle and kind. I immediately fell in love with him,” Michele reflected, adding that her affection felt like a mother’s love.

With a new name and a loving environment, Seal’s life has transformed drastically. Michele provides him with the devoted care and attention he once lacked, allowing him to overcome his challenges and flourish.
