A young puppy, not even two months old, was found abandoned on the streets in a very fragile condition. The tiny dog was suffering from broken legs and a spinal injury, leaving him unable to move freely.
Despite these challenging circumstances, the puppy had a strong desire for love and care.
When I first met him, the puppy, who was later named Clark, valiantly wagged his tail in the hope of receiving some comforting attention, even though he was clearly in a lot of pain.

Along with his broken bones, Clark was not only severely underweight but also extremely anemic.
The veterinarian who took care of Clark was shocked by how serious his condition was. Clark also experienced difficulty in urinating, which might have been related to a condition similar to polio.
This meant that urinary catheterization, a painful procedure, was necessary to ease his suffering.

Clark was scheduled to undergo several major surgeries, and we were fully committed to supporting him throughout his healing journey.
One of Clark’s health issues was his inability to have regular bowel movements, which required additional medical intervention.
Despite the tough treatment process, Clark’s charming personality inspired us to continue with his care.

To our relief, Clark began to show signs of progress and even gained a kilogram in weight. The next important milestone in his recovery was a spinal surgery planned for the following week, which we hoped would greatly improve his mobility.
The surgery was successfully completed, offering a promising outlook for Clark’s ongoing recovery.
