Stray Dog ‘Bunica’ Rescued and Thriving After Tumor Surgery Adventure
I recently named and rescued a stray dog found wandering around with a large tumor. I’m determined to help her, and I succeeded in doing so. The tumor on this poor dog was enormous and could weigh up to six kilograms.
Capturing her was quite an adventure. After a long chase through fields full of bushes and thorns, I eventually managed to catch her by using a tranquilizer to calm her down.
The chase was nearly a kilometer long and filled with challenges since it was risky for her to fall into a ditch while under the influence of the tranquilizer.

Despite being scared and attempting to bite me, I was finally able to secure her safely and take her to the veterinarian.
I named her Bunica, and the veterinarian promptly scheduled surgery to address her condition. Two days later, Bunica underwent surgery while we anxiously awaited the biopsy results, hoping for the best.
A week after the procedure, it turned out that the surgery was successful, and Bunica’s wounds were healing nicely. She is on her way to good health and is expected to return home in about three weeks. Her situation has greatly improved.

Two months on, Bunica has settled well into her new home. She looks beautiful and seems ready to embark on a joyful life.
