Introducing Hope, a resilient little dog who defied the odds. Abandoned in a ditch, Hope clung to life despite her challenges.

It’s unclear how long she had been left there, but she was clearly exhausted, feeling downcast, and had lost her faith in humanity.

Hope’s health was in a fragile state when she was found. She has kidney issues and injuries to her back and hips, which have left her struggling to stand.

Her rear leg lacks support, and her front legs are misshapen, likely due to a calcium deficiency caused by past trauma.

At one point, Hope developed a fever, but fortunately, it is now under control. Her stomach also posed a problem, plagued by gas buildup.

However, she is now eating and drinking regularly, showing significant improvements in her health and well-being. Hope’s caregivers are firm believers in miracles and blessings, especially when people unite to offer assistance.

Remarkably, Hope is on the mend, although she still faces challenges such as Entropion, a condition causing her eyes to dry out. To manage this, she will need to use eye drops for at least a year.

“Every day Hope is making progress,” shared those caring for her. “She has made remarkable changes since she first came into our lives. Hope is a sweet-natured little dog.”
