Determined to assist, the team from Associazione Ohana approached the dog cautiously, trying to calm her. To their relief, the dog was surprisingly friendly and allowed them close enough to help.

After gaining her trust, they gently lifted the dog into their car and took her home. Wasting no time, they called a veterinarian to assess her condition

The vet arrived and confirmed that the dog was not only severely malnourished and suffering from a blood infection, but was also covered in ticks. Despite her conditions, she was due to give birth very soon.

Naming the dog Bea, the rescuers made sure she was comfortable, providing her with a cozy bed and ample food and water. After just a day of rest, Bea went into labor.

The family from Associazione Ohana watched in awe as Bea successfully delivered 10 healthy puppies, a heartwarming end to her difficult journey.
